About

Luca Félix is a digital product designer and developer born in Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹. He recently completed his Bachelor of Arts at Hochschule für Gestaltung in Schwäbisch Gmünd, focusing on digital experiences that feel intuitive, personal, and human.
Luca is passionate about renewable energy and designing technology that gives people real control over their smart homes. He believes devices and apps should work for the user, not the other way around. From connected home systems to bike route planners, he aims to make technology simpler, more meaningful, and enjoyable.
His work ranges from interactive prototypes to fully realized applications with frontend, backend and database logic. He enjoys experimenting, testing ideas quickly, and refining them until they feel right. Collaboration is essential to him, as the best solutions often come from shared ideas and perspectives.
He has extensive experience in multiple fields, having worked at Robert Bosch GmbH as a Software Engineer for three years. There he built a new Design System for their web-based products. This Design System is being used every day and in every project in a department with 70+ full time software engineers.
When he is not designing, Luca can be found cycling, running, tinkering with electronics, or exploring ways to merge sustainability and technology. He approaches every project with curiosity, a sense of humor, and a desire to create work people enjoy using.
